Ford Hat
I was a young naïve cowgirl
 Lost in his blue eyes
I melted like ice in the summer sun
He stole my heart with a single glance
I realized I never even stood a chance
Oh I fell so deeply in love with

The boy in with Ford hat
He was tall and handsome and
 He stole my heart
I shouldda known that he would right
 From the start
He was farmer with gentle hand

We spent the summer talkin’ and a walkin’ together
I wish those day lasted forever
He said he loved me and I said it right back
He was strong and sweet and his voice made me smile
 I always prayed he’d stay a while
So it would just be me and

The boy in the Ford hat
He was tall and handsome and
 He stole my heart
I shouldda known he would right
 From the start
He was farmer with gentle hand

Now there’s a picture hangin’ on the wall
Of me and a baby with his blue eyes and

The boy in the Ford hat
He is tall and handsome and
 He stole my heart
I shouldda known he would right
 From the start
He was farmer with gentle hand

He is a farmer with a gentle hand
That boy in the Ford hat….Ford hat…oh Ford hat
