You Knew
You knew
You saw her life crumbling down
You saw her try to keep from stumbling now
You knew
You could picture that gun in her hand
You could see her life finally lose its stand
You knew
You knew
You heard him talking to his friends
You heard him talking about the end
You knew
You sit back
Watching
Thinking
"It's not my problem"
You sit back
Wondering
About things
That don't really matter
You watched as they crumbled away
You didn't care
Didn't speak
Didn't think it mattered
You knew
No one has to go through life alone
No one has to deal with the hurt on their own
You could be a Savior
If you only took the time
You could be the one
To help fight the demons inside
You could be the one
To show a person love
You could be the angel
Sent from above
No one seems to care
About the ones they call loners
All this rejection
Has turned them into stoners
You could have stopped it
You could have ended it
You could have saved a life
Their blood is on your hands
You knew!
You sit back
Watching
(You knew!)
Thinking
"It's not my problem"
(You knew!)
You sit back
Wondering
(You knew!)
About things
That don't really matter
(You knew!)
You could watch as their lives crumbled away
(YOU KNEW!)
You knew!
You didn't care!
You knew!
You didn't speak!
You knew!
You didn't think it mattered!
YOU KNEW!

this is really good! i like how you kept repeating the YOU KNEW throughout the whole poem. it really added emphasis to the meaning of it. great job!
