I remember. .
I remember you
Do you remember me
And all that we went through
Or am I simply a memory
I reminisce on days before
On all the good that you did
I remember the days before they tore
And from me, you, forever hid
I remember your eyes
And your smile
I remember their lies
That I believed all the while
I remember your way
And your personality
I remember how you always kept your feelings at bay
And that discernment was your specialty
I remember when you cried
And I was by your side not knowing what to do
I remember that you were always on my side
No matter what I was going through
I remember you loving me
And I remember our friendship
I remember how we used to be
And how one day, I let all that slip
And now you’re gone
And its my fault
And now you’re with others among
And no longer my name by you will be called
I remember the pain, and my heart splitting in two
I remember your look of agony
And this pain you feel, I believe you, I do
But some day we will again be free
I remember my promise
And I remember our talks
I remember your kiss
And our solitary walks
I remember your wisdom
And I remember your goodbye
I remember you, my friend
And I promise that I will never believe their lie
I remember you
Do you remember me
And all that we went through
Or am I just a memory. .
