Radioactive
It’s like I'm invisible
 Always there, but never seen
 It’s like I've gone away
 Alone and in between
I'm the outcast in this place
 That makes people say

 “What the heck goes one
 Inside your head?
Are you mad? Are you sad?
 What’s going on?”
 When you’re like this
 People treat you different
 Like hazardous waste
 An infectious disease
 Like you’re radioactive

And it just doesn’t seem fair
No matter how normal you are
You can never meet the standard
And people you seem to avoid
 ‘Cause they just don’t understand
 They’re thinking to themselves

 “What the heck goes on
 Inside your head?
Are you mad? Are you sad?
 What’s going on?”
 When you’re like this
 People treat you different
 Like hazardous waste
 An infectious disease
 Like you’re radioactive

I’ll try again to get it right
I’ll try every single day and night
For someone to come up to me
And for them not to say

 “What the heck goes on
 Inside your head?”
Are you mad? Are you sad?
 What’s going on?”
 When you’re like this
 People treat you different
 Like hazardous waste
 An infectious disease
 Like you’re radioactive
