Dear God, I’ll take Your crown of thorns
When broken are my Devil’s horns.
Will You please help me have them shorn?
Your cross with my hands I’ll make worn.

You know I yearn to stop Life’s race,

I wrote this in June of 2008 while in the midst of doubting that I could serve God as a terrible sinner. The good news is that I still am a terrible sinner, but He has taken the broken pieces of my life to create a mosaic of astonishing beauty. May He be praised! <3 Matthew 14:23-32.
