Tell Me
The rain splashes down, the light’s washed away,
Been thrown in this new word and I am afraid
Of what lies ahead. Can I be brave?
For I face the music for mistakes that you made.
 And I wonder…

 REFRAIN: Can you tell me
Who I am and where I’m going?
When will this all be okay?
And will I be here forever,
 Maybe just one more day?
Well, I don’t know how I got here,
 And I don’t know why
The guys with all the answers
 Are just passing me by.

I stand in the open where nobody can see
That I’m alone in the crowd, but how can that be?
I stare out across this endless sea
And cry out to anyone, “Can you hear me?”
 And I ask you…

 REFRAIN (repeat once)
