Sitting there with a pencil in hand
I try to think but I just can't find
The right words to describe
That beautiful light
That lovely star in the daytime sky

Oh my lovely sun's eyes

Breathing in I begin to imagine
The world ahead and how this all happened
All due to luck and a little of a push
Now I can see how the world really works

Who'd have thought I'd be crying on a Monday night
Stars choked out by the city lights
Who'd have thought that I'd end up
All alone and love struck

Looking at the ground I take out the colors
Black and white just brings out your eyes better
And how you look off to the side
Biting your lip and trying to hide
How I wish I could make you mine

Curling up in my empty bed
Nothing seems to get you out of my head
I'm noticing things I normally wouldn't
Like how your voice changes
How you scratch when you're nervous

Who'd have thought I'd be crying on a Monday night
Stars choked out by the city lights
Who'd have thought that I'd end up
All alone and love struck

Looking at the ground I take out the colors
Black and white just brings out your eyes better
And how you look off to the side
Biting your lip and trying to hide
How I wish I could make you mine

Every line in your sculpted heart
Every break and every start
All the words that cover up your thoughts
That hide you away

Everyone that broke you, everything that hurt you
All of your pain
I'd take it away
I'd take you away

Who'd have thought I'd be crying on a Tuesday morning
Sunrise making the horizon burn
Who'd have thought that I'd end up
So alone without you here

One day Dear
It won't just be a dream
We'll be all alone
Just you and me

I would take you away today
But I guess we'll have to wait

It takes a thousand words to feel alive, and one to die.

This Is Brilliant. And It Still Makes me So Incredibly Happy Whenever I Read It.. <3
