Every time you tell me that you love me
I know that it’s a lie
But I pretend otherwise
I smile and nod along
Silently waiting
For a new wound to come

The others have barley healed
They are still so raw
The pain spreads throughout my body
Like poison from my tongue
But I endure it every time
I can’t seem to let it go

Its like I’m drawn to the flame
I’m addicted to the fight
I feel as if I’ve been crying these tears
For all my life
I try to walk away
But I don’t know how
I’m so numb
That it doesn’t hurt anymore
Darling when it comes to you
I’m a masochist

When I am alone
I dry my tears
Which start to flow
As I give in to my fears
Every time it’s the same old story
And I am left broken hearted
Just waiting for some new wounds to come

Its like I’m drawn to the flame
I’m addicted to the fight
I feel as if I’ve been crying these tears
For all my life
I try to walk away
But I don’t know how
I’m so numb
That it doesn’t hurt anymore
Darling when it comes to you
I’m a masochist

Why can’t I seem to let you go
You’ve put me through much pain
As these old scars show
It seems that this love
Will be the death of me
But I don’t care
Cause darling when it comes to you
I’m a masochist

Its like I’m drawn to the flame
I’m addicted to the fight
I feel as if I’ve been crying these tears
For all my life
I try to walk away
But I don’t know how
I’m so numb
That it doesn’t hurt anymore
Darling when it comes to you
I’m a masochist
