Lovesick, My Heart Will Die
When you are full of useless junk,
And words that have no use,
When everything is full of work,
And your soul has no more fuse,
When you never sit and talk,
Or make a time for sleep,
 When everything seems worthless then
My dear, please talk to me.

When making every step seems hard,
 When talking is a chore,
 When hopelessness consumes you from
Your bones, and leaks from pores.

When making small talk seems so dull
 And smiles are rarities
 When everything seems worthless then
My dear, please talk to me.

I tell you this with heavy heart
 I know you won’t reply
But hopeless hearts will never rest,
 And lovesick,
 Mine will die.
