Old Iron Horse
I cry out to the world,
Dear God don't let me fail,
Cause I need you more now then ever before,
When I hear you hatin' on me some more.
I'm about to drop,
So catch me before I fall [x2},
Into this sea of despair,
Cause this fight in my heart ain't here no more,
My old iron horse is dead and gone from you.
You laugh at me,
I don't fight back any more,
Knowing there is no tomorrow,
Like there was yesterday,
Will you please just let me be?
This time I'm sorry just this time,
Cause you taught me I'm weak to say I'm sorry to everyone,
So surround me with your lies,
Cause this old iron horse is long dead and gone from you.
There is a sea of faces,
Some never seen before,
But it's like mine sticks out,
Over the roaring sea of these faces.
I hate you like you hate me,
Every time you pick on me,
Shoving me into the lockers,
Never fighting back cause my old iron horse is dead and gone.
I fall to the ground,
Tear soaking my eyes,
As she laughs,
Hangin' on your shoulder.
Cause too much blood,
Has flowed,
From my wrists over you and her,
Never fighting back cause my old iron horse is dead and gone.
It's a true shame,
To waste your time,
Picking on me,
Cause I have no more fight left in me.
The old iron horse,
Is dead and gone,
So don't tell me,
That I don't still need you.
Don't light this gun up,
Cause it's already been lit,
You push me,
And I'll push back.
I didn't write this song,
Just for you to pick on me,
So I can say that,
I hate you too.
You say I'm ugly,
But you've never seen me,
I maybe ugly on the outside,
But just wait and see,
You'll be sorry once again.
I know you're angry,
But so am I,
Cause my old iron horse,
Is dead and gone.
Don't tell me,
I didn't warn you,
That this was coming,
For all your hate.
Good bye, old iron horse.
