“I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind. Some come from ahead and some come from behind. But I've bought a big bat. I'm all ready you see. Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!”

-Dr. Seuss

People
They Carry on Living
With or without you
Not Trying to Apologize
Never even saying
Good-Bye

Your Heart got ripped
And torn to pieces
Trampled on So Many times
You’re Not even sure if you want to survive

Giving your heart out again
The Pain is clearing once again
How can you trust him?
He's hurt you twice
Three is not the Charmer
It won't make him 'Nice'

The Hits Still hurt
The Scars won't disappear
He May say "I'm Sorry"
But the memories are still clear

Oh
They never will heal until you-

Let Him Go
Make it a memory of the past
Leave him behind
Show you're still Strong
Let those tears fall out
It's not a sign of weakness
Let them hit the floor
I won't let him hurt you no more
No More

You Said Good-Bye
Closed that door
Came closer to me at the same time
But even though
His memories are still so close

He found your weakness
Over again
Using your worst Nightmare come to a Truth
Oh Please Just Please

Let Him Go
Make it a memory of the past
Leave him behind
Show you're still Strong
Let those tears fall out
It's not a sign of weakness
Let them hit the floor
I won't let him hurt you no more
No More

No No he won’t hurt you
Never again
I won’t let him through
He will stay behind

Because baby He’s your past
Just haunting our good life
Just Let Him Go He won’t hurt you No More

Cause I’m Your Future

The author's comments:
I wrote this one day, in my study hall. I guess you could say I had a tough day. And my friend really just said a couple soothing words and he really just made me feel all better.

And this song I wrote is in his view and what I felt he was trying to get me to see.
