Hold on to my hand and help me stand
Hold on to my hand and help me stand
My life is still an unfinished plan

I don’t know what to say
I pray for you every single day
My voice tearing down state lines
Slicing and dicing everything it finds
Through the earth and through the seas
Theses words will always be set free
Racing against the wind like a fool
Desperately running making its way to you
Now tell me if you can hear
My voice, brushing against your ears
Humming the silent tone of my unfinished tears
open up your heart without any fear
Listen to all the crazy things that make me scare

Hold on to my hand and help me stand
My life is still an unfinished plan

 Bring me into the light
Tear down those empty walls that have turn my days to nights
Scream at God and tell them to hear
Tell him there’s someone here that needs his care
Tell him to look down and see my face
Let him throw down a little hope so I can give it a chase
I'll use that to pave my own way
My hands digging into patches of the earth making my own trace
