Broken Scars
If you look into a mirror and see,
Your reflection broken into pieces of three.
And you feel that there is no other way,
Than to starve yourself, clasp your hands and pray.
To make all of the pain,
Go away.
But you’re perfect,
And you’re worth it,
You mean everything to me.
I would run, jump, swim, and climb,
All you gotta do is scream.
If only you opened your eyes and could see,
You’re not the one with the problem.
The problem is society.
The problem is society.
As the blood flows out of your veins,
You wonder what’s brought on this change
Hearing words that can really kill.
You fall to floor covered in pills,
But once, upon a while ago.
You were happy and now won’t say hello.
But you’re perfect,
And you’re worth it,
You mean everything to me.
I would run, jump, swim, and climb,
All you gotta do is scream.
If only you opened your eyes and could see,
You’re not the one with the problem.
The problem is society.
The problem is society.
Don’t let anybody get you down.
Because karma exists,
And what goes around,
Comes around.
But you’re perfect,
And you’re worth it,
You mean everything to me.
I would run, jump, swim, and climb,
All you gotta do is scream.
If only you opened your eyes and could see,
You’re not the one with the problem.
The problem is society.
The problem is society.
But you’re perfect,
And you’re worth it,
You mean everything to me.
I would run, jump, swim, and climb,
All you gotta do is scream.
If only you opened your eyes and could see,
You’re not the one with the problem.
The problem is society.
The problem is society.
So live life and all your dreams.
