I'm not reading me
When I read all of these
Old poems full of misery.
I'm not reading me.

I never thought I'd end up here.
Full of love, and low on hate.
Maybe those days were a mistake
Or maybe I'm just fake.

I'm completely new
With a new attitude.
Used to wanna choke the queen
but now I want to be her...
and beat her.

I'm not reading me
When I read all of these

Is it supposed to shame me?
My smile is painted on
Yeah it's not natural.
Does that make it not real?
