Never Again
Whispering softly
Her voice carries on alone
Carefully telling
The story
For which she's alone
Her tears
Drip down
Turning the fabric
Deep blue.
No one listens
So no one hears
Her tale is her face
Covered in tears
And she screams
Never again!
I'll let you hurt
And never again
I'll listen to your words
Leave me here
To dwell over your face
And don't come near
I don't want to face you no more
Painfully etching
His pen leaves its marks 'cross his veins
Righteously showing
The story of all of his pain
He watches
Ink fall down
Staining his skin
Bright red
No one watches
So no one sees
His story's the poison
Hidden under his sheet
And he cries
Never again!
Will I let you hurt
And never again
I'll listen to your words
Leave me here
To dwell over your face
And don't come near
I don't want to face you no more
I can't face you no more
She knocks at his door
To tell his she's sorry
She knocks at his door
To get the comfort she once held
The comfort she once knew
He comes to her face
Missing her love and
He comes to her face
Hating her face and
Hating her for all of his pain
All of the pain he's been through
And they scream
Never again
Will you hurt me
And never again
Will your words affect me
So leave me here
To forget all of your face
And don't come near
I don't want to be you no more.
