So let's rewrite this story,
and Not have it end with death,
or Glory.
How is it that love should die in the end?
and That someone should lose their best friend?
So why don't we have it start a little bit like this,
Not with a feud, but with a kiss.
Not two families, at each other's throat.
Or a lover's unseen note.
So let's not have it end with the heartbreak,
The unforgettable laughter,
our lungs at stake.
Let's not have it be heard.
The stories unheard.
Let's not hear the heartbreak.
Another love, another story.
Why does it never become boring?
I know, 'cause the travesties of love,
Are always worth enough.
So forget the nights walked alone,
As if you know your life is set in stone.
But if you only knew, what's in store.
So forget the troubles at it's end,
As only you can mend.
These words.
So let's not have it end just like this,
Have it end with a final requested kiss.
Let's not stop here,
'Cause I still want to go everywhere with you.
So forget the nights walked alone,
'Cause you've always known.
Nothing's better than this.

I'm selfish, impatient, and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control, and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best. ~Marilyn Monroe
