Something Deeper
I look out at what is presented in front of me
In front of my eyes, but nothing is ever how it seems
Vivid and obvious but does it have a deeper meaning
These birds are chirping but it sounds more like singing
The open silence speaks louder than a thousand words
There’s a message flowing in the wind but its tone is unsure
I feel the weight of gravity pulling me down
I just want to break free and discover something beyond this town
Surrounded by the same faces, its growing boring
Looking for someone new, someone to adore me
