Flawless
The walls have fallen, but the rose hasn't faded,
He loves my words, he loves the way I write to him,
Even in darkness, I see his light within me,
He kisses my scars, and suddenly I can breathe.
How to love, how he loves me,
Even with all of my flaws, I'm all that he sees,
A bitter past consumed in misery,
I am beautiful, and that's who I am to him.
What did I do to deserve someone like you?
Well, it's true, nobody loves me like you do,
And I'll love you in this lifetime more than anyone could ever share with you,
I've always been behind you,
Now I'll stand right here beside you.
And I'll wake up one day with him next to me,
He brings out my best, I'll envelop in his positivity,
Perfection isn't real, I know that's not the key,
Suddenly I'll love myself because he loves me.
