Looking Back
Sitting here, looking at old photographs
Pacing back and forth, across the floor
I can’t believe all this time has passed
I hate that I let everything go
It all slipped through my fingertips
Simply terrifying how time has flown

 I’d give it all for a re-do
I’d give it all to be brand new

Looking back at the end of the day
Looking back on the what went away
Looking back at the mess I made
I’m looking back on how it all has changed

I wonder if anyone else has known
The sting of regret you can’t forget
Wonder how on earth you ended up alone
Cause it started out so strong
One thing you missed it, started driftin’
Now everything you had is gone

 I’d give it all for a re-do
I’d give it all to be brand new

Looking back at the end of the day
Looking back on what went away
Looking back at the mess I made
I’m looking back on how it all has changed

I start to think its better off this way
 But remembering how its faded
Something I was promised I'd always have
And now it has been turned to ash
 I can’t stand looking back

 I’d give it all for a re-do
I’d give it all to be brand new

Looking back at the end of the day
Looking back on the things I never say
Looking back at the mess I made
I’m looking back on how it all has changed
