Do you see the pain in her eyes?
She keeps a secret deep inside.
A secret Mommy doesn’t want whispered to her friends.
A secret Grandma and Grandpa don’t know.
A secret that her and Daddy hide together.
He doesn’t see the pain in her eyes.
He says he loves her and that’s why.
She doesn’t see it that way though
She doesn’t know why Daddy hurts her.
He says he doesn’t mean it.
That he loves her.
His little angel,
His little angel...all broken inside.
