Just Fine
It's been about 30 days since I've seen your face
Not like I could forget it anyway
The picture of you still sits in the back of my Jeep
Catching sun rays as I drive as far as I can see
Sometimes I miss our song when it plays in my mind
I wish I could go back and relive it almost every time
But life's too short to be throwing bricks at glass hearts
Soak up the air, add some flowers to my hair
And I'll be just fine.
Bit back my tongue when I wanted to call your name
Not like you could hear me anyway
You're too bored and I'm too tired to fight this war
Loves a game and heartbreaks always the prize
And I'll look over your messages a million times
Never pressing erase until I'm fully satisfied
You're gone and I'm moving on
But I still...
miss our song when it plays in my mind
I wish I could go back and relive it almost every time
But life's too short to be throwing bricks at glass hearts
Soak up the air, add some flowers to my hair
And I'll be just fine
