Everything's Fine
I see you lying on your bed,
With tears in your eyes,
And blood on your hands.
The world has become dark and cold,
And it has taken its toll on you.
You say you want it all to end,
But everything’s fine.
You don’t know where to go,
And you’re lost in your mind.
Everyone’s gone away,
And they are the people you need the most.
The one you want is with someone else,
But everything’s fine.
Mom and dad aren’t the ones to blame,
Neither is God.
The clock ticks slowly,
And the minuets feel like hours.
The day drags on forever,
But everything’s fine.
Should I be the one to feel your sympathy,
Or should I be the one to neglect you?
Even though it hurts like hell,
You need to show your muscles.
You’re screaming bloody murder now,
But everything’s fine.
I’ve tried to help you,
But you keep pushing me away.
You don’t give a damn,
Because you feel your life is at the trench.
You’re still screaming like a horror movie,
But everything’s fine.
What’s next for you,
And when will it be done?
Will the light cut through the darkness,
Or will the sun never shine?
You may be down and scarred now,
But everything’s fine.
