What good is it to sing the same old tune?
No one around will join in the merriment.
Is all lost to the pessimism that absorbs greedily?
I’m not one to say, but I think it will readily soon.
He is done playing.
And she is done acting.
Maybe they’ll part
And stop their overreacting.
