Perspicuity
Wishing just to be in a place of perspicuity
Not wanting a foggy picture in my frame
Throw a penny in the wishing well
Will things go right, only time will tell
I hope I find some clarity
Living life as if a dream
I just want to move along
Can we really have the things
We’ve thought of in a song?
I walk the halls of my house
And see colors on the walls
They’re not there, just imagined
These walls have been plain for too long
Many cannot see the life
I’ve dream of in a song
The beauty of this image
Is not one I will prolong
I think of all the places
And the people I could meet
And the excitement of it all
Makes life that much more sweet
Laughing at our silly moments
Lovely long phone calls
Learning information
With no filters sifting raw
Truths that open eyes
And the life that lies behind them
Making us all wonder why
Pain chooses truth to hide in
Leaving all our sufferings
And broken cares behind
Fighting for that picture frame
Transparent, clear in mind
Wishing just to be in a place of perspicuity
Not wanting a foggy picture in my frame
Throw a penny in the wishing well
Will things go right, only time will tell
I hope I find some clarity, oo-oo
I hope I find some clarity.

I wrote this in a song writing group I go to every week, and the word we were supposed to use was: frame :)
