Change - A Lyrical Trilogy
  Change
  Distraught and decayed
  I’m fading away
  But that is okay
  It’s deserved anyway
  You’re all involved
  We will evolve
  Everyone changes
  It’s written on these pages
  I am afraid
  Of what’s to come
  We do what’s best
  For “everyone”
  Like everything
  It’s all distinct
  You cannot change
  What’s already been done
  Everyone thinks
  That things will be alright
  But honestly
They need to open their eyes
  Distraught and decayed
  We’re fading away
  And that’s not okay
  We all need to change

  Nothing Lasts Forever
  “Nothing last forever”
Although that’s not how it seems
  Fabricated behind all your dreams
And now you’re ready to scream
  It’s building up inside you
  It’s all about to show
  Close your eyes and realize
  All good things must go
  Stagnation stays like cancer
  A cure fails to come
  Waiting for innovation
  “Change” has made us numb
  Corruption is what leads us
They say they do not need us
  Stagnation begins to recede
  Finally we feel freed
  Nothing lasts forever
And that is how it seems
  You slowly close your eyes
And find your way to sleep
  Believe
  Thoughts run through your mind
  You’ve finally been freed
No longer stuck behind the bars
You can now roam the streets
  Hypocrisy is a killer
  There is finally a winner
  Hypocrisy’s a defeater
  We’ve all become sinners
  Believe in everything that’s happening
  We all end up breaking
  The beginning has finally come
  Take me back home
The blood flows from your skin
You know us well, what we could’ve been
This was something we couldn’t win
But we did all we know as grim
  Twisting and turning
  You sleep through the night
You have never seen something so bright
You can’t see the truth tonight
As it crawls beside your bed
You realize it’s in your head
You scream and cry but it comes out dead
You realize that it’s the end

About The Songs:The 3 songs written are a trilogy all connected to the same idea; Change. The first song, Change is about needing change, and not getting it. The world is corrupted and people didn’t want to think of new ideas. Nothing Lasts Forever, is the next song I wrote. This song is about people finally looking at a better future, and doing something to make the world a better place. The last song, Believe, is about change finally being brought to us. A new world that has been brought upon us. The genre of these songs is Screamo. They are fast paced and short. The lyrics are screamed with emotion and the instrumentals are softer.
