Propogandist
I walk down the street with unstated clearance,
The only thing granting mine is my appearance
Guns loaded, coupled with my fake police attire
Sanity’s corroded after the chaotic riots
Lack of people, as their attempts were feeble
Because I didn’t know a demonstration’s illegal
I pass by some street art being wiped down-
Freedom-seeking prophets’ works being wiped out
Graffiti that sent messages, painted by risking refugees
Now there’s a cop on every street corner
Harassing every now-homeless mourner
Reminds me of what exactly had occurred on that night
The “war” being fought causing some to see their last sights
A poster beside me complimented rigged elections
“If you want freedom, you can’t ask questions!”
The government owned and controlled everything
Didn’t let the people represent or change anything
They hated the existence of a resistance
Based on the posters, such a thing is just fiction
Communism tends to be just like religion
Except it, only the government can re-vision
I must give the government credit for taking innocents
And stealing their rights by making them ignorant.
Of homes and loved ones we’ve been robbed again. It’s
Not uncommon, considering the “president” is a propagandist.
