her x me
She's the girl at the back of the classroom
head down music up
gentle eyes with glass hues
the kind of person you look through
she'll never say it but
she wished to be more
more than just the norm
more than just a bore
insignificant and small
alone through it all
she's got thoughts to be words
but she knows they're unheard
insignificant and small
irrelevant
and she's quietly used to it
and she's quietly losing it
sometimes i think i'm the only one feeling her
eyes to the floor
only music to soothe her soul
i wish i could tell her
that i see her pain
i wish i could walk with her through the rain
because i saw her
she's everything and more
i'm scared but i want to make her soar
insignificant and small
alone through it all
she's got thoughts to be words
but she knows they're unheard
insignificant and small
irrelevant
and she's quietly used to it
and she's quietly losing it
my knees are weak and i can hear my heart beat
just one word she be so simple
this is absurd
but i'll do it today
"hey"
and those glass hue eyes widen in surprise
and i don't see right "through" her
i see right to her
Amazing FIghting the fall
she was alone through it all
she had thoughts to be words and she is finally heard
Bright and fair
Beautiful
and she's quietly used to it
and now she can lose it
in my arms
