Those Daring Eyes
Today might be as daring as your eyes
A glimpse of heartbreak through such happiness
Power so conveying it’s like a prize
Yet, those daring eyes remain in darkness
Staring straight ahead towards your enemies
It’s almost like that heartbreak powers you
That if I got close it’d imprison me
Yet those daring eyes are not red, but blue
Blue, like ocean tides swaying back and forth
And blue like the bird perched upon the tree
Not red, like fire with fiery warmth
Because blue could act like red, you'll want to flee
Those eyes scream confidence, yes so daring
That even they scream and feel despairing
