Life Changing
I now know what it’s like to be alive.
There was a time when I was once dead,
But because of Him, I am revived.
Now my trust lies within the words of the Bible I read.
All my life, I’ve always had a notion
That there are much better things in life to desire.
My faith now strengthened, much deeper than the ocean.
To walk and live as Christ did, I now aspire.
With everything that was going on, I felt oh so worn.
The purpose of the life I was living, I began to ponder.
God or sin? Good or evil? With all of these choices, I was so torn.
Down God’s path he planned for me, I began to wander.
When I felt as though I was at a total loss,
I remembered that Jesus Christ so loved me; he died for me on the cross.

In the past, I struggled severely with my mental health, but God freed me from all of those burdens!! So I wrote this poem so that people would know that he can do the same for you.
