Ever So Faithful
Come near to me so I can share,
A secret that is rare,
Bound by truth,
Just as Ruth,
Ever so faithful,
I will share this tale so charmful,
And truly divine,
It will not fail to shine,
As a beacon on a hill,
Bringing the world to stand still,
Of a wonderful gift,
That promised to lift,
Our burden of sin,
That in the end did win,
Our souls over to Him,
We do not accept it as just a whim,
But with all of our heart soul and mind,
We choose to accept it as a bind,
To our Heavenly Father,
That through no other,
Then of His perfect Son,
The impossible could be done,
That death could be defeated,
So that his love could be completed,
In a most amazing way,
To cause a heart to sway,
A spirit to renew,
If only you believe it’s true,
Then listen when I say,
That there will be a day,
When all else fails,
And faith unveils,
The true believer,
Who He will deliver,
At the end,
Just around the bend,
Not before the tares,
As they declare,
But after all is passed,
Then shall the last trumpet blast,
Announcing the Lord‘s return,
For the waiting bride he beckoned
Which forever held true,
Though they are so few,
Forever He will hold them dear,
Because for Him they stayed pure
…but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. Matthew 10:22

Snookums, even tho she didn't reply to my asking her to check out my poems she did and may I add that she actually enjoyed them...so please leave me alone...I have never said one mean thing on this site and I have no idea why you enjoy criticizing me...please stop...also you haven't submitted any work of your own so what gives you the right to attack mine...why snookums why?
