I'm tall enough I can touch the ground!

Once your born, you start to die...

He lived across the street from me,
My friend Ian.
Together we would play and sing,
Me and my friend Ian.
At one point, he had to leave,
My friend Ian.
It hurt us worse than ever before,
Me and my friend Ian.
It hurt him so much he got depressed,
My friend Ian.
And as with everything else, we hurt together,
Me and my friend Ian.
But for once, it over took him,
My friend Ian.
We both thought he had pulled through,
Me and my friend Ian.
But alas he hung himself,
My friend Ian.
I’ll never forget what we had,
Me and my friend Ian.
For I loved him like I have loved no other,
My friend Ian.

This poem was inspired by my best friend Ian. He lived across the street from me. He moved away eight years ago. After he moved, he became really depressed, and hung himself four years ago, I will never be the same...

Really?!? Thanks, was that from k-3rd or 4th-6th grade that you went to school? I would say the name of the schools, but that would be personal info, which is not allowed.

I went to school with Ian. I never knew you lived across the street from him. We all miss him dearly. This is a great poem I'm really glad you wrote it for him. :)
