A happy memory
From times long ago
How big those smiles used to be
Friendly faces that no longer show
A happy memory is a blessing and a curse
Causes a smile to come about
Buts its sometimes a reminder things are getting worse
Learning what life is like to live without
And yet when thinking about fears
A happy memory can stop most tears
