Masked Figures in Sparkling Gossamer
beckon to me with their crystal glass fans
to follow their lead and to come closer
and with them I will travel to their lands

Of make believe, bright hopes, and glitter dreams
I will dance on the petals of flowers
and the dresses I wear will have no seams
confetti will fall from April Showers

Onto the shoulders of the Briar Queen
Pale and beautiful, with blue river-veins
She is the ruler of all that is unseen
but is kept prisoner by rose-thorn chains
