My Desire
Adrenaline pumps through my veins,
As I patiently wait for my next turn.
When it’s my turn I start to feel insane,
Crack! The ball goes behind me in a fern.
Sweat rolls down my cheek on this starry night,
And this blood is always worth the soreness.
I can never tell what will happen next,
I may win the game or die of boredness.
This game has come on to me very well,
As if I was born just to play the game.
Oh, how I’ve always loved this intense smell,
I could do this always, just for the fame.
The game has done many great things to me,
I will desire the great game of Baseball.
