Hideous Envy
Upon appearance
you are
ideal.
However she knows you;
flesh and life line.
You think not.
Like a mirror along side her;
can you not see
Destiny?
No, because you are blind
by reasons to be left locked.
How innocent you seem
however lust owns you.
And she knows,
because lust owns her too.
Auburn burns on more than just love
for you.
Your beauty, your heart,
your struggles.
Sympathy fails to greet you,
Unlike her and her insecurities.
You earn—
No, “earn” is not appropriate—
You receive all the ideals you wish,
with no reasons for receiving.
She cries because
Stolen from her—
By you—
Is a very man’s past kiss.
She wishes to adore you
like everyone else seems to do,
but friends fail
to give her at lease one respect
to allow her love of another
similar to her own.
Hypocrisy?
Is that what she owns?
With you in her life
Failing to know
What real love is
because you stole it
from her very heart.
