The Path Ahead

I walk away leaving behind footsteps of my yesterdays
To be swallowed up by the ocean face
And my tomorrows
Release from the ocean feet
It speaks
Of possibilities and dreams
And drowns my brain
With the sweet taste of honey and hope
I turn and look
At the new path in front of me
So I move
Towards closed doors
So I can open them and take a peek
At the body of my future as it lay down asleep
