Turning it Around
Turning it Around
Okay, its time for the pitcher to start.
He was not tense as he took the dirt mound.
The pitch was fast just like he throws a dart.
Each swing had missed the ball when it went ‘round.
Quickly, innings flew by with a quick pace.
Until one man came up to save the day.
He crushed the ball with a grin on his face.
After that hit, the game started to sway.
Each team scored by hitting homeruns each time.
One team lead by one run with three outs left.
Two outs came quick, then a pitch was too fine.
The home team won with what seemed like a theft.
Beat up, both teams had given it their best.
One glad, one upset, they went home to rest.
