This Is My Love
It fills my head, only to be released.
My aching hand,
trying to adapt to the beat.
Brightness in the dark,
and darkness in the light.
My mind will always wander,
to what will fill this screen tonight.
Fingers breaking,
arm shaking,
and my mind a portal for muse.
There was William, and Robert, and Sandra, and more.
From pen, to quill, to keyboard, and to the lamp beside you on the floor.
It is a passion, a duty, and even a right.
It is the thing that I love, and the thing I do at night.
