Paradox
If all the glee and happiness we’ve known
And saw, have fallen through our broken hearts
And love that lovers forgot, often shown
The deepest pain while lovers come apart
Or opposite, kindness soaked through with hate
Buckling from the love we thought we knew
Like raps so worn they have ripped from our weight
Removing the veil so we see the truth
What sorrow we have encountered, so sweet
A favorable pain we’ve come to friend
A word we smile at when we come to meet
The feeling that we love and hate to end
But all is lost and won at the new day
A love we hate or love to run away
