A Lost Friendship
Our friendship was once strong, a bond of love
We were there for each other, always ready
And out the window it flew like a dove
No more smiles, only feeling unsteady

You lied, you ran and you lost innocence
No more faith, I stopped trusting you
You won’t change because of your arrogance
There is nothing left to say, I bid you adieu

I’m saying goodbye not out of hate
Or lack of love, but so that we may heal
I don’t think I can hold this heavy weight
After all, you caused this awful deal

Do you remember how you used to be?
I do, you used to be a healing key
