"When you find a diamond, try to break it." ~ Prince

Your words are endless daggers to my heart,
That rips my love until the break of dawn,
I see you find pleasure in your skilled art,
Though love in me presides to not abscond.
And here you go with your menacing craft,
That brings my tears to an unending plead,
You watched me still and laughed oh how you laughed,
Though my lament was true yet made me bleed.
I still came around to see how you loved,
I bought flowers again for your absence,
To help me notice I was not enough,
Yet I keep your token for permanence.
Yet still I wait for you with fortitude,
Hoping ‘til dawn that your love be renewed.

This is a Shakespearean Sonnet, or others may know it as an English Sonnet as well. The meaning is true, it hurts me when I think about it.
