Through Blurred Eyes
No one can see through these blurred eyes of mine
Through my eyes the world is much different
Things that had shape become color and shine
But much more than appearance is shifted
I can see the worlds evil with clear eyes
With out them things look more simple and clean
Things are unnoticed like hatred and lies
The blurred worlds just color and lights that beam
Everything in this big world becomes one
And no two things the same or have meaning
So blurred that I can stare into the sun
If you could see its like a big painting
But what is a painting without details
This world is breath taking even with its fails

I have very bad eye sight (253/20 vision). When i take my glasses off things are so blurred that without being a big object or distinct color my eyes will make it out as if the object is not even there. Light expands, colors and shapes mix and disform. When I am going through something negavtive, I tend to take off my glasses and for some reason it gives me more room to think about things and these things become clear. It allows me to fix myself without distraction and seeing things for what they are.
This poem symbolizes when taking these glasses off, that allow you to see things for what they are, everything becomes one, more simple, and not complicated. The world is pure and carefree. Your hidden from its corruption.
In the last two lines it transitions from wanting to hide from the disfunction of the world, to accepting it for what it is and recognizing that its beautiful even with its flaws.
