Life and Music
Life used to be filled with shimmering hope.
That glimmering faith has faded away.
Silent stares are all I see in life's scope.
Also, those very harsh words that you say,
They summarize life's awful, hurting pain.
Feelings it creates are all painted blue.
Mysteries await me like playing Clue.
Tired of betrayal and beings unfair,
I start avoiding your apologies,
And take a break for a breath of fresh air.
Run away to regain mentality.
In song and music, I regain belief.
Life is beautiful; it's a bit of relief.
