I close my eyes, shut my ears
There's no one I see so no one's near;
I let them all see my mask,
it's all lies so nothing to fear.
I scream into the open sky,
embers fall but none come nearby;
I try saving my soul from self,
but the blood in me has gone too dry.
You stretch your hand out to me,
my fingers slip, we drown in the sea;
I've broken hearts, I've shattered souls,
but now, I've decided to let you free.
