Sorrowful Love
Methought thy love could not bring me sorrow,
But the Counsel said love can fade away.
Doth one think we’d separate tomorrow
Or wilt our love strengthen and make you stay?
I want to convince thou to believe me,
But the love we share is like scattered rain.
Though this commitment has its history,
The love we had never brought us this pain.
Now time is up, so the storm will subside
Leaving is hard for there’s been many years,
Memories never departing my side
There is a new storm now and it is tears.
A new open door, but don’t be a foe
Because closed doors are still hard to let go.
