I do not agree with legalizing marijuana because I truly feel that people will abuse the ability to use it for medical reasons.  The article talks about legalization of marijuana in California and the writer talks about their own experience with the drug. Marijuana caused the writer to lose control of themselves and had bad effects on his mental state.  Therefore, I feel like it’s just going to cause problems and it will not be as helpful as people believe. The article also talks about how the use of the drug can cause people to be depressed or have anxiety. I don’t think that marijuana is needed for coping because it seems to only make things worse for the people who use it.
