The poem “Security” caught my eyes as I was scanning trough Teen Ink., the poem “Security” is by Julie Powers. When I read this poem I thought about my child hood. I remember climbing up a big tree when we went to the park. The tree would protect me from the bad things around me. The bad words would get trapped by the branches of the tree.
