Tne Cellar
“Do you think we’ll ever get out of here?” I’m going to be discussing why The Cellar is a good book and why people should read it. In The Cellar, Summer gets kidnapped by a man named Clover while out with friends. He kidnapped her and kept her in his basement for months along with a few other girls. He gave them names which were names of flowers: Lily(Summer), Rose, Poppy, and Violet. No matter what he put them through Summer stayed strong and knew she wanted to get out and she knew her boyfriend was out there looking for her. The Cellar is a good book; however, it's not for everyone. The Cellar is a Wattpad book with a kidnapping story and many thrilling parts to it.
Since it is a Wattpad book it's not for everyone. The only Wattpad book I have read is The Cellar so I don’t know much about Wattpad books but I do get a sense that there is certain writing to them that is almost cheesy; nevertheless, there is still a bountiful amount of people that love them. “A light, cool breeze whipped across my face, making my light honey blonde hair…” That’s just a quick example of how the writing is somewhat cheesy. The way the books are written and even though many books are written by different authors are very similar. Though I do think that it is wonderful that she got her book from Wattpad published, along with numerous other books, and it’s also a New York Times bestseller.
It is a kidnapping story which is crime/suspense and a lot of people like reading that genre. It is one of the top Genres of books. I personally love the crime genre and I enjoy reading thrilling books. I feel like they grab a hold of me and pull me in. I have read The Cellar a few times and I could read it more even though I already know the ending. I just find the plot fascinating. I picked up the book in Target a while ago, but I was not able to get it. I wanted so badly to read it. Just by the cover, title, and little description on the back, I could tell that it was outstanding.
There are many thrilling parts to the book that are very compelling. When she is getting kidnapped it's monumental. I can almost feel her fear and I can really tell how confused she is. There are several other events that happen that are violent and I feel like maybe she could have made them more in-depth to give more of an experience to the reader. When I was reading them I didn’t really feel any strong emotions even though it was very graphic. They’re still written quite well however I feel like they could be better.
There are many exciting and dangerous events in this kidnapping story. The Cellar is an excellent book I think many would enjoy reading. Like I said before though it is not for everyone since the writing is a little cheesy and not everyone will like the plot. If you enjoy reading kidnapping books you will probably enjoy The Cellar. It is a very exceptional book that I think many would be pleased by reading.

That's why I think this book is perfect for people like me who need a thrilling book and they need something exciting in front of their eyes to pull them in.
