The Shack by William P. Young
The Shack: William P. Young
I would usually prefer to read books that keep you thinking and want to continue reading. The book The Shack is a more spiritual book and was still interesting and inspired me to get closer to God.
The Shack is a book about a father, Mackenzie, whose daughter got kidnapped while on a camping trip, he kept searching and never lost hope. One day he went to a shack where the last piece of evidence was of his daughter being there.
Unexpectedly the house looked as new as ever. He knocks and there opening the door is God. God put peace in his heart as he was there with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. The ending of the book was kind of a shock; maybe it will surprise you too.
In total, The Shack is an amazing book, I would recommend to anybody. It’s interesting and is good for anybody.
