Killing Lincoln by Bill O'Reilly
Killing Lincoln by Bill O’Reilly delves into perhaps the most heinous act in U.S. history, the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. O’Reilly was able to address both sides of the assassination, the side of the perpetrator and the side of the victim. Doing this he was able to uncover many previously unknown details that led up to and could have possibly prevented Lincoln’s assassination. Although this book is entirely true, the way O’Reilly covered both sides of the story giving the characters emotion and making the reader almost related to the characters made this book almost seem fictional, this book always has the reader asking him/herself “how could this have actually happened?”
